A low pressure area is very likely to form over North Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas around June 11. A trough is extending from East Uttar Pradesh to Northeast Bay of Bengal across Bihar and Gangia West Bengal. A cyclonic circulation is persisting over Assam and adjoining areas.
A trough is extending from Sub-Himalayan West Bengal to South Chhattisgarh. A Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over South Gujarat and adjoining region. Another cyclonic circulation lies over North Arabian Sea about 6 km above sea level.
Possible weather activity during next 24 hours
During the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rains are likely over Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Gangetic West Bengal, parts of Odisha, Konkan & Goa and parts of Telangana Light to moderate rains are possible over parts of Jharkhand, Interior Odisha, Bihar, Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Rayalaseema, South Gujarat, isolated parts of Tamil Nadu and Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
