Carrots : It’s a good thing to grow carrots at home as they are loaded with vitamin A. Carrots need soft soil which can be well-drained. Make sure your soil isn’t too moist or else it will start attracting wireworms.

Tomato : Place the tomato seedling inside the new container filled with potting soil and cover with soil leaving some part of the stem outside. To grow stronger tomato plants and bigger tomatoes, bury two-third of the plant inside the soil while transplanting.

Beets : A very high in fiber vegetable, beets are loaded with vitamins A and C. They easily grow from seeds and need loose soil. Make sure you plant them in late summers or sprint time as they prefer acid and loamy soil.

Radishes : Radish is one vegetable that works well for salads and soups. Just like carrots, radishes will grow well in loose dirt but don’t overcrowd the seeds.

Brinjals : Harvest the brinjals only when the skin is firm and smooth. If the fruit is left on the tree for long, it will indeed develop wrinkles and taste bitter. Pick the fruit only with Pruning Shears as the top of it bears thorns. Large varieties will produce 6 to 8 fruits per plant. Read More...
