Product Description:
Kontrol is a systemic fungicide from the triazole group, used effectively to control a wide range of fungal diseases, especially in cereal crops, oilseeds, fruits, and vegetables. It provides excellent protective and curative action against diseases like rusts, leaf spots, sheath blight, and powdery mildew.
Mode of Action:
Kontrol acts on fungal pathogen at haustoria formation stage. Kontrol inhibits the biosynthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. By disrupting cell membrane formation, it stops the growth and spread of the fungus, offering both preventive and curative effects.
