Tata Metri is a selective systemic herbicide containing Metribuzin 70% WP. It is used for effective control of annual broadleaf weeds and grasses in crops such as soybean, wheat, potato, tomato, and sugarcane. The herbicide is absorbed through both roots and leaves and moves through the xylem, inhibiting photosynthesis (Photosystem II), resulting in the death of susceptible weeds. It can be applied as both a pre-emergence and early post-emergence herbicide.
