Mode of Action
Torpid belongs to the neonicotinoid group of insecticides and acts on the central nervous system of insects.
It works by binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, causing continuous stimulation of nerve cells. This leads to paralysis and eventual death of the insect.
