UPL Centurion EZ is a next-generation selective, systemic post-emergence herbicide developed by UPL for the effective control of annual and perennial grassy weeds in broadleaf crops. Powered by Clethodim 13% w/w EC, it offers excellent control of difficult grassy weeds while ensuring outstanding crop safety in soybean, cotton, and onion. The product is formulated with advanced EZ technology that enhances herbicide absorption, rapid translocation, and consistent weed control under field conditions.
Centurion EZ is absorbed quickly through the leaves of actively growing weeds and is translocated throughout the plant to the growing points (meristematic tissues). It inhibits the Acetyl-CoA Carboxylase (ACCase) enzyme, which is essential for fatty acid synthesis in grasses. As a result, weed growth stops within a few days, followed by yellowing, drying, and complete death of the weeds.
