VENUS is a systemic insecticide based on Acetamiprid 20% SP (Soluble Powder). Acetamiprid belongs to the neonicotinoid group, IRAC Group 4A, and acts primarily on nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in insects, disrupting their nervous-system function and ultimately causing paralysis and death. It has systemic, contact and stomach action and is particularly useful for managing sucking-pest infestations.
VENUS is intended for the management of pests such as aphids, jassids, whiteflies, thrips and other sucking insects, depending on the crop and approved label use.
